Happy coincidences and unexpected encounters is what we are all looking for when we decide to join a coworking space. By reaching out to a coworking community we hope to leave our own limitations behind and find people and resources that will move our own ideas forward. Serendipity, community, networking – this is music in our ears. No matter how fluid and vague these terms are, they are the big promise of collaborative spaces. In this session, we invite an inspiring group of space operators and community managers to focus on the concept of serendipity and to present ideas and formats how they try to capture this magic moment.

What exactly are the conditions for this much desired creative symbiosis? Can you make a formula for serendipity? And how do you analyze if it is at work in a certain environment?
