Programme: Breakfast buffet begins at 9am, and the meeting will take place from 10am—12pm. Everyone is welcome to participate or just listen in, and there will be time afterwards for discussions, questions and socialising. We encourage you to join us with specific topics that you would like to explore in small working groups after the presentation.

Presentations:

• Berlin-based journalist and organiser Joel Dullroy will discuss his new e-book “Independents Unite! Inside the Freelancers’ Rights Movement”, canvassing the various organisations standing up for freelancers in Europe and the US. A preview edition is now available for free download from freelancersmovement.org. Joel will discuss his research, as well as the plans for an upcoming Europe-wide freelancers campaign.
• OuiShare representative for Germany Thomas Dönnebrink will shortly present this international peer-to-peer network/movement connecting and promoting the collaborative economy and wants to explore together with the crowd ideas, thoughts and options how freelancers could and should collaborate – maybe also beyond lose networks or contemporary forms of co-working spaces to make their life and work easier, more joy- and successful and create synergetic effects for the benefit of all.

Cost: €5 per person for buffet, including pastries, waffles, muesli, yoghurt, fruits, cheeses, cold meats, breads, dips and more. Drinks are available for purchase from our café. Everybody is welcome to attend, also those who do not wish to purchase the buffet.

Language: Discussions will be held in a mixture of English and German, depending on the preferred language of those in attendance. Comments and questions are welcome multi-lingual, and we will happily assist with translations throughout the event.
