Calling coopreneurs, platform coop enthusiasts and activists for more equitable futures, especially those who are interested in learning about platform cooperativism and what it takes to build a platform coop!

Please join us for our upcoming community call in which we will focus on one specific project in each call, using the Case Clinic framework as a great way to dive into the complexities and opportunities of a platform coop endeavour.

In this upcoming session we’d like you to introduce yourselves and your existing coop, project, idea or need you bring to the course. We will give you an introduction into the case clinics framework and provide the chance for each of you to engage in this form of p2p consultancy.

For this third edition of our case clinics series we’ll present Fairbnb.coop, the cooperative accommodation booking platform that promotes and funds local initiatives and projects. This is Fairbnb in a nutshell:

• The Host earns the same,
• the Guest pays the same
• but the benefits are for the whole community.

50% of the platform fee is used to fund a project of your choice for the communities you visit.

In our call, we’ll introduce you to Anton W. Mantovanini, the Fairbnb ambassador for Berlin. We are especially interested in learning about Fairbnb’s plans for Berlin and how local people can engage with the project.

We’ll hear from this emergent project and provide a chance for both feedback from the community, but also the chance to engage with the project from an early stage on.

We’ll be around 20 participants and a number of projects within our round, so you’ll be able to connect and join other projects, too.
